Quick tuna sauce with carrot spiral noodles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp rapeseed oil
  • 400 g tomatoes (can), chopped
  • 4 carrots
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese, reduced calorie
  • 2 tbsp basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

WW suitable, low carb, spiral noodles

Peel and finely chop the onions, and fry them in a pan with hot oil. Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the carrots using a spiralizer and cook them in salted water for about 2-3 minutes. Drain the tuna and add it to the tomatoes along with the cream cheese. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and basil. Tip: For non-low-carb eaters, regular pasta can be used as an alternative.
