Quick white bread / raisin bread without yeast

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 25 g margarine
  • 380 ml milk
  • 25 g sugar, if desired
  • 125 g raisins, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and gradually stir in the cooled butter and milk. If making raisin bread, stir in the raisins and sugar at the end. Pour everything into a loaf pan and bake at 175°C for about 60 minutes.
