Quick wild garlic chicken

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts (not too small)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, red and orange (or yellow), roughly diced
  • 400 ml vegetable broth (or 200 ml stock and 200 ml white wine)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch wild garlic (about 60 g, more is finely chopped)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper, 5-pepper mix (or black pepper), freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the fillets into 4-5 pieces each. Briefly sear the fillets all over, then remove from the pan. Sauté the onion in the same pan, then return the chicken to the pan with the onions. Now add the diced bell peppers and sauté briefly. Pour in the stock (or stock plus white wine), bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer gently with the lid on for about 7-8 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and wild garlic, season, and heat again, but do not let it boil. Serve with pasta—we serve it with tagliatelle.
