Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of mustard
  • ½ onion(s), finely chopped
  • 300 g white cabbage or red cabbage
  • 3 gherkins
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 1 tsp caraway or chopped parsley
  • Tarragon or basil
  • possibly tomato(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare a marinade from the listed ingredients, including the onion, and season to taste. Grate the cabbage, cucumbers, and apples into the marinade and mix. Add caraway seeds or herbs and season to taste. Garnish the salad with tomatoes, if desired.
