Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g almond(s), ground.
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 175 g butter
  • ½ lemon(s), organic, zest of which
  • 300 g powdered sugar
  • 400 g marzipan
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 400 g jelly, currant (or any other)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Make a dough from flour, almonds, zest, egg, 125g butter, and 100g sugar. Form the dough into balls and press a dent into the center. Place them on baking sheets. Preheat oven to 175°C and bake for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the marzipan and mix with 50g powdered sugar and the egg yolks until smooth. Pipe onto the edges of the balls (using a piping bag with a perforated nozzle). Bake for another 12 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the jelly and then pour it into the hollow of the balls. Let cool. Mix 150g powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons lemon juice until smooth and pipe onto the macaroons.
