Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 ml water
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g flour, sifted
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g almond sticks
  • e.g. oil, for frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Bring water, butter, and salt to a boil. Slowly stir in the flour and beat in the eggs, one at a time. Using a food processor, mix until smooth, then fold in the raisins and almonds. Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Scoop doughnuts with a tablespoon and place them in the hot oil. Fry for 4-6 minutes, turning frequently, until they are light brown. Remove the doughnuts from the pan with a slotted spoon and place them on kitchen paper to drain off any excess oil. Dust generously with powdered sugar while they are still hot.
