- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 g wheat flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 30 g butter, soft
- Flour for the work surface

- 50 g almond(s), chopped
- Grease for the tray
- 175 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp water, hot
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
For the dough: Mix the first 6 ingredients together, mix the flour and baking powder in a second bowl, stir half of it into the quark, and then slowly knead the rest of the flour into the dough. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (mix the base with flour, otherwise the dough will stick and become impossible to roll!) and brush with the softened butter. For the filling: Wash the raisins and let them drain well. Mix the sugar and vanilla sugar and sprinkle them onto the dough rectangle along with the raisins and almonds. Roll out the dough from the shorter side, use a sharp knife to cut approximately 2 cm pieces from the roll, place them on a greased baking sheet, and flatten them slightly. Bake in a hot oven for approximately 15-20 minutes at 175°C – 200°C. Once the raisin rolls have cooled slightly, mix the hot water with the powdered sugar and spread it over the raisin rolls as a glaze.
