Raisin Rolls
The perfect raisin rolls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For painting
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 kg Spelled flour type 630
- 200 g Raisins
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 125 g Butter
- 3 Eßl Milk
- 1 middle Egg
- Warm the milk with the butter.
- Mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast well.
- Then gradually add the lukewarm butter milk mixture to the flour mixture while stirring.
- Knead everything well.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 2 hours.
- Then knead well again and add the raisins. Knead vigorously.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, shape dough pieces the size of a roll and place on the baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise for another 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 220 top / bottom heat.
- Then mix the milk and egg together and brush the raisin rolls with them.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 20-25 minutes. Before doing this, turn the oven down to 200C.
