Ras El Hanout

The perfect ras el hanout recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Tl White pepper, ground
  • 1 Tl Black pepper, ground
  • 0,5 tsp Red pepper (alternatively chili powder), ground
  • 1 Tl Ginger powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 0,25 tsp Nutmeg, ground
  • 4 Cardamom pods
  • 4 Clove seeds
  1. Put all the spices, clove seeds and the cardamom pods in a mortar and crush them.
  2. Put the whole thing in a glass with a screw cap and store in a dark place.
  3. Now it can be used depending on the recipe.
