Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • Apricot jam
  • powdered sugar

Butter cookies with a twist

Mix the ingredients together at room temperature and knead into a smooth dough. Let stand in the refrigerator for half an hour. Roll out and cut out shapes. For the Spitzbuben, use a round pan for the base and a round pan with a hole for the top. Bake at about 150 degrees Celsius until golden brown. Spread the cookies without the hole with apricot jam (you can use another jam, depending on your taste). Place the cookies with the hole on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar to finish.
