refreshing and delicious
Here’s how it’s done: Place the frozen raspberries in a large glass bowl. Whisk the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff. First, stir the natural yogurt in a small bowl until creamy, then fold it into the cream and mix well. Pour this mixture over the raspberries and smooth it out. Now sprinkle the cane sugar generously in a really thick layer (at least 1 cm) over the mixture. Leave to rest in the fridge overnight. Serve chilled and do not stir! Note: The raspberries will thaw overnight and the juice will collect at the bottom of the bowl. When serving, please make sure that you reach the bottom (i.e. down to the raspberries) with the spoon. This way, each guest has a layer of raspberries, cream and sugar in their dessert bowl. This dessert is a hit at every barbecue (party). I always make three times the batch. The acidity of the raspberries, the freshness of the cream and the caramel sweetness of the brown sugar harmonize wonderfully.
