Raspberry Vinegar – Homemade

The perfect raspberry vinegar – homemade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Raspberries fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Honey – I only had eucalyptus honey
  • 500 ml White wine vinegar 6%
  1. Sort the raspberries, but do not wash them, then put them in two sealable bottles or jars (I had screw-top jars of sausages with a capacity of 600 ml). Put a tablespoon of honey in each glass, fill up with white wine vinegar and close tightly.
  2. Place the jars on a sunny windowsill for two weeks and gently shake them once a day. The raspberries now color the vinegar a little more red every day. Strain after the two weeks – the raspberries are worn out and no longer needed.
  3. Raspberry vinegar is a delicious ingredient for all leaf salads – and I confess: until now I have always bought it for a lot of money or received it as a gift, now I know: it is very easy to make it yourself.
