Really delicious quick paprika goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow, green
  • ½ m.-sized vegetable onion(s)
  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 ring/e meat sausage or approx. 600 g chicken meat
  • 4 tsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly chili sauce, sweet and sour
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Finely chop the sausage, bell peppers, and onion. Brown the sausage in a little olive oil. Season with plenty of paprika (hot and sweet) (or with pepper and salt for chicken). Remove the meat from the pan and sauté the onion in the pan. Add the bell peppers. Season with about 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and a good pinch of sugar. Then simmer the whole thing over low heat (5-10 minutes, depending on how crunchy you want the peppers). Add the tomatoes, then the meat. Finally, add the crème fraîche and tomato paste. Season with a little chili sauce, if desired. Season to taste. Best served with tagliatelle and a green salad.
