Recipe for a simple muffin
Muffins are a convenient alternative to cake and are easy to make. With this recipe, you can make the dessert in no time at all. You will need 12 muffin cups, 250g flour, 100g butter, 100g sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, salt, 6 tbsp milk, and 2 eggs.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees convection.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with a hand mixer.
- Arrange muffin cases on a baking sheet or set aside a 12 muffin tin.
- Using 2 large tablespoons, fill the muffin batter and the molds.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until muffins are lightly browned in color.
- To find out if the muffins are done, do a stick test by gently inserting a wooden stick into the batter and pulling it out again. If something sticks to it, the muffin needs to bake a little longer.
- Tip: If you want to spice up the muffins a bit, you can divide the dough in advance and color it with food coloring. Other ingredients such as cherries, blueberries, raspberries, or grated chocolate go well with this basic recipe – you can simply fold them into the raw dough.
