  • ½ small head of red cabbage
  • 4 carrots
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp oil, neutral
  • 3 tbsp pomegranate syrup

Wash and grate the red cabbage or cut it into very fine strips (about 4 cm long). Peel and grate the carrots (using the coarse side). Add salt, oil, lemon juice, and pomegranate syrup and mix. The salad tastes better the longer it sits.
