Ingredients
- 1 Little red cabbage
- 2 Apples
- 1 Onion
- 150 g Walnut kernels
- Balsamic vinegar, oil, salt, pepper
- Sugar, cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Clean the red cabbage, cut into eighths and cut into narrow strips. Sprinkle with a little salt and knead well so that it absorbs some liquid.
- Peel and core the apples and cut or grate them into sticks. Cut the onion into small cubes. Chop the walnuts and lightly toast them in a pan without oil.
- Prepare a sauce from balsamic vinegar, oil, possibly salt, pepper and sugar and add to the other ingredients together with the cinnamon powder and mix everything well.
- Let it steep for a couple of hours and season again if necessary. The cinnamon should be clearly palpable.
