Chicken Breast with Orange Sauce

- 2 Pc. Fresh chicken breast
- 1 Pc. Beaten egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Curry
- Chilli (cayenne pepper)
- 50 g Almonds
- 30 g Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 6 Pc. Carrots
- 30 g Butter
- 0,125 liter Water
- Dried dill
- 1 Cup Rice
- 0,5 liter Water
- 20 g Butter
- 1 Knife point Ground turmeric spice
- 1 Pc. Orange fresh
- 0,25 Pc. Lemon
- 0,25 liter Water
- 20 g Butter
- 2 tsp Sugar
- Flour
- Wash the chicken breasts and dry them well. With the above Season the ingredients. Carefully season with chilli. Bread with the beaten egg and a mixture of breadcrumbs and sliced almonds. Fry in oil on both sides for about 15 minutes at medium temperature until golden brown. Close the pan with the lid or use the oven.
- For the sauce, add the juice of a 1/4 lemon and an orange to the water. Add 2 teaspoons of sugar, salt and a piece of butter. Bring everything to the boil and add the orange wedges as well. Possibly thicken with cold butter or, if you don’t like it that greasy, thicken with a little flour.
- Peel the carrots and cut lengthways into narrow pieces. Salt and sauté in melted butter. Sprinkle with dill at the end.
- Boil rice in salted water, add a piece of butter and a pinch of turmeric.
- Arrange nicely on a preheated plate and you’re done. Bon Appetit!
