Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g red cabbage, cut into fine strips
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g sheep’s cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 liter vinegar – water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes
Bring a large pot of 1 liter of vinegar-infused water to a boil and add the finely sliced cabbage. Boil for about 2 minutes, then drain. Rinse the cabbage with cold water and let it drain well. Transfer the cabbage to a bowl and toss with the oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Add the feta cheese, cut into small cubes, mix, and let it steep for at least 2 hours. Season again to taste. It will be perfectly cooked the next day.
