Red-green coleslaw

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ small head of white cabbage, cut into fine strips
  • ½ small head of red cabbage, cut into fine strips
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (rice vinegar or other mild vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Maggi
  • Caraway powder
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

refreshing side dish

Place the finely chopped cabbage in a large bowl. Heat the vinegar and maple syrup in a small saucepan, then stir in the oil and mix with the cabbage. Season to taste with salt, caraway seeds, and Maggi. Let stand for at least half an hour, then season again before serving.
