Red Lentil Soup with Chocolate

Ingredients
 

  • 1,5 Ta Lentils red
  • 4 Pc. Carrots
  • 2 Pc. Onions
  • 2 Pc. Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Chili sauce
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 l Vegetable broth
  • 80 g Chili chocolate

Instructions
 

  • First chop the garlic, onions and carrots and heat some oil in a large saucepan. Then sauté the onions, garlic and carrots. Now add the lentils and all the spices and deglaze with the vegetable stock.
  • Let the soup cook for a good 40 minutes on a medium heat. The lentils have to disintegrate in the pot.
  • Then season all of them with salt and pepper and add the tomato paste. Depending on your taste, add the chocolate in small pieces to the pot and let the soup boil for another 10 minutes.
  • Finally, puree the soup.
