Cooking: Hot Red Lentil Soup with Sausage

- 1 Fresh leek
- 1 Red peppers
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- 2 tbsp Seasoning paste
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- Salt
- 1,25 liter Water
- 200 g Lentils red
- 100 g Sucuk
- Clean the leek and cut into rings / slices. Wash the peppers and cut into rings.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan. Braise the leek and peppers in it. Then add the spices and cook with them. Then stir in the seasoning paste and tomato paste.
- Now add the water and the lentils, bring to the boil and then cook for about 20-25 minutes until the lentils are soft.
- Cut the garlic sausage into small pieces and add.
- Let it steep for a few minutes (up to 30 minutes) over the lowest possible flame.
