Red pasta with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 250 g bacon, streaky smoked
  • 140 g tomato paste
  • oregano
  • Garlic granules
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Break the macaroni into approximately 5 cm long pieces and cook until al dente. Cut the streaky bacon into small cubes and fry in a pan over medium heat until the cubes are browned. Drain the pasta and rinse well. Transfer to a large bowl. Pour the rendered bacon and fat over the pasta, then add the tomato paste. Sprinkle with oregano and granulated garlic to taste. Mix everything well. Serve immediately and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
