Quick Spaghetti Carbonara

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 175 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 3 eggs
  • Parmesan, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the bacon and finely chop the garlic. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water for about 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the bacon and garlic in a pan without adding any fat until crispy and drain on a paper towel. Drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot; do not return it to the stovetop. Add the bacon, garlic, the desired amount of Parmesan cheese (as desired), and the eggs; the eggs will set naturally due to the heat of the spaghetti. Season to taste and divide between attractive, deep plates. Sprinkle with a little Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
