Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g margarine
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 250 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts, grated
- ⅛ liter red wine
- ½ jar morello cherries
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp red wine
- chocolate sprinkles
Instructions

Beat the margarine until fluffy. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, cinnamon, and cocoa powder one at a time and mix everything well. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and hazelnuts. Now add the red wine. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold them into the mixture with a whisk. Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper baking cups and fill with the batter. Then divide the drained morello cherries among the muffins. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 20-25 minutes. Cover the cooled muffins with a glaze made from red wine and powdered sugar and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
