Red Wine Vinegar with Currants
The perfect red wine vinegar with currants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,75 liter Dry red wine
- Good quality improves the taste
- 200 ml Vinegar essence
- 100 g Currants fresh
- Wash the currants and strip them from the panicles. Fill into well-cleaned, carefully rinsed bulbous bottles.
- Mix red wine and vinegar essence, pour over it.
- Let it stand for at least 3 weeks.
- The longer the vinegar can steep, the better the taste. Can also be made with raspberries, strawberries, blackberries or blueberries. The amount refers to bottles.
- This vinegar goes well with fruity salads or strong leaf salads such as oak leaf lettuce or lamb’s lettuce. Also looks good as a present.
