Reese's Peanut Butter Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g milk chocolate coating
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp, heaped peanut butter, chunky
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Chocolate glaze and/or powdered sugar
  • 12 chocolate decorations (Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Cream the sugar, butter, and eggs together until fluffy. Melt the milk chocolate with the milk and add to the mixture. Add the peanut butter and 4 chopped Reese’s Cups and mix well. Now stir in the flour and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a 30 cm long baking pan and lower 4-5 whole Reese’s Cups into the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 50-60 minutes. If desired, cover with chocolate glaze or dust with powdered sugar and decorate with a few Reese’s Cups. Tip: Place the Reese’s Cups on the cake while it’s still warm so they melt into the cake.
