Rhubarb Dessert

The perfect rhubarb dessert recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

rhubarb

  • 350 g Freshly peeled rhubarb
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar brown
  • 1 Cinnamon stick

vanilla cream

  • 2 sheet Gelatin white
  • 300 ml Curdled milk
  • 1 packet Vanilla sauce without cooking
  • 2 Tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple juice
  • 100 ml Cream 30% fat

rhubarb

  1. Cut the prepared rhubarb into small pieces and mix with the brown sugar
  2. Add the cinnamon stick and let everything simmer for about 5 minutes, remove from the stove, let cool down and remove the cinnamon stick.

vanilla cream

  1. Soak the gelatin in water for 5 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, mix the curdled milk with the vanilla sauce powder, powdered sugar and apple juice with a mixer.
  3. Now squeeze out the gelatin, warm it up, dissolve it with a little vanilla cream and then add it to the vanilla cream and stir well.
  4. Chill the cream for about 15 minutes and then fold in the whipped cream.
  5. Finally, put the rhubarb and the cream in layers in a couple of beautiful glasses and decorate with mint
