Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ cup(s) rice
  • 1 ½ cup(s) water
  • some turmeric powder
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 3 leaves of wasabi or nasturtium, fresh
  • some salt
  • spice(s) of your choice and need
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

First: Use a cup (approx. 200-250 ml). Cook the rice in lightly salted water according to the package instructions. Add a little turmeric powder during cooking to give it a yellow color. Cut the feta cheese as finely as possible and fold it into the cooked rice, mashing it with a fork if necessary until everything is well mixed. You can also stir in other spices according to taste. If using wasabi leaves, you can stir in the finely chopped stalk (the fresh one is much spicier). Roll or wrap the finished mixture in the leaves and secure with toothpicks. Grease a small baking dish with olive oil. Place the parcels in the dish and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 15 minutes.
