Rice and minced meat pan with peppers and cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bag of rice
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • ½ jar bell pepper(s), roasted
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice as usual. Finely chop the garlic clove from the jar of roasted bell peppers, finely chop the onion, and drain the roasted bell peppers, also cutting them into small pieces. Brown the onion and ground beef. Add the roasted bell peppers and garlic clove and sauté briefly. Then add the cooked rice and sauté for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Before serving, add the cheese, stir, and let it melt. This is another dish from my (leftover) fridge.
