Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pork
  • 60 g butter
  • 3 large onions
  • 250 g rice
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • ¾ liter meat broth, clear (with 1 1/2 cubes)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 250 g cheese (Gouda, medium-aged)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the meat into strips. Melt the butter, chop the onions, and sauté in the butter. Add the rice, paprika, and salt, fry briefly, and then add the broth. Simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the bell peppers and cut into strips. Blanch the tomatoes, peel them, and halve them. Add the bell peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms to the meat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes. Add the diced Gouda cheese and season to taste. Add more salt if desired.
