Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 35 minutes
a recipe for a 3.5 L Crock Pot/Slowcooker
First, fry the ground beef in a pan until crumbly. Add the diced onion and sweat until translucent. Finally, add the garlic. Let the pan cool slightly and drain any excess fat. Empty the contents of the pan into the crock pot. Add the diced bell peppers and dried spices, then top up with the canned tomatoes and tomato juice. Set to low. The simmering time is between 5 and 7 hours, depending on the crock pot. About 1 hour before the end of the cooking time, stir the rice, the remaining spices, and the soup stock powder into the dish. Season to taste before serving. Baguette is delicious with it. Note: This dish tastes like stuffed peppers in tomato sauce with rice – only as a stew. It is very filling and, of course, tastes even better the next day.
