Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • some salt
  • 80 g rice pudding
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 6 tbsp milk, cold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the milk and salt to a boil, add the washed rice, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Whisk the custard powder, sugar, and egg yolk with the cold milk (6 tablespoons). Stir the whisked custard powder into the cooked rice, which has been removed from the heat, and bring to a boil briefly. Fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the still-hot rice pudding and carefully pour it into a glass bowl. Refrigerate to cool.
