Rice with green beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 500 g green beans
  • 200 g rice
  • some olive oil
  • 20 g butter
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Trim and wash the beans and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Peel and finely dice the onions. Place the rice, beans, and onions in a pot with the oil and water (until everything is well covered). Add salt and simmer over low heat. Melt the butter in a pot and add the paprika. Drain the beans, rice, and onions, transfer them to a bowl, and drizzle with the paprika butter. Can be eaten hot or cold.
