Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g rigatoni
- 200g chorizo
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped, 400 g
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 200 ml cream
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Parsley, fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Pasta dish with spicy Spanish chorizo
Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions. Thinly slice the chorizo. Thinly slice the onion. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and briefly fry the onion and Spanish chorizo. Add the tomato paste, distribute the sugar, and let it caramelize briefly. Add the chopped tomatoes and 3-4 tablespoons of pasta water. Let everything simmer over low heat. Finally, stir in the cream and season the sauce with salt and pepper. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce, serve on a plate, and garnish with some freshly chopped parsley.
