Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 kg roast pork (crust roast)
- 2 large onions
- 2 rolls
- 300 ml water
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Wash the meat and pat dry, sprinkle with salt and pepper on all sides, and place it in the Tupperware Ultra container. Finely chop the onions and add them to the roast. Cut the bread rolls into small cubes, lightly season with salt, fry in olive oil until crispy all over, and add them to the roast. Place the lid on the pot and place the roast in the oven at 180°C for 40 minutes. Then add 300ml of water, close the lid again, and place it back in the oven for another 40 minutes. Now separate the meat from the rest of the ingredients. Place the roast back in the Tupperware Ultra container and place it in the oven for 20 minutes, using only top heat at the highest temperature for the last 10 minutes to ensure the crust is nice and crispy. In the meantime, puree the onions with the homemade croutons and season with salt and pepper.
