Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mett or Bratklops

If using Thuringian Mett (a type of minced pork), please taste it first, as it is usually pre-seasoned. Season the minced pork generously with salt, pepper, caraway, and marjoram to taste. Mix in the diced garlic and onion. If you like, you can also add a teaspoon of mustard. Add 1 or 2 eggs and thicken with breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs. Then, using your hands, form large or small dumplings, which you then flatten. Before adding them to the pan, I sprinkle them with sweet paprika. Fry them until well browned on both sides.
