Roast Pork in Puff Pastry Coating

  • 6 Pc. Peeled garlic clove
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 1 Pc. Pork neck
  • 5 Pc. Mixed with bacon, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped parsley
  • 3 Pc. Mushrooms
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 1 packet Puff pastry
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Chop the garlic cloves. Rub the roast all over with the garlic and salt and pepper. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan and fry the roast evenly on all sides.
  2. Chop the onion and cut the strips of bacon and mushrooms into small pieces. Steam the onions in a pan until translucent, then fry the bacon, mushrooms and parsley. Salt and pepper the mixture to taste, then add the cream. Preheat the oven.
  3. Cut a small piece of puff pastry, roll it out and cut out long strips for garnish.
  4. Now roll out the remaining piece of puff pastry, distribute the bacon and mushroom mixture evenly on top and place the roast in the middle. Wrap the puff pastry well and garnish with the puff pastry strips cut out beforehand.
  5. Brush the filled puff pastry piece with egg yolk and place in the oven for 30 minutes at 220 ° C.
