  • 2 slice(s) roast pork, cooked and not so thin
  • 1 pear(s), peeled, cleaned, halved
  • 2 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 200 ml meat broth, or gravy, or rest of the gravy
  • 50 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp cranberries, from the jar
  • salt and pepper
  • Soy sauce
  • curry powder
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Briefly sear the pork roast on both sides, top with the pear and cheese, and bake in the oven or grill until the cheese is lightly browned. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: Melt the butter, stir in the flour, and toast briefly, taking care not to over-brown it. Pour in the broth, stirring well. Add the cranberries and cream, and season with the spices. We had leftover red cabbage and potatoes to serve with it.
