Roasted Cauliflower with Tahini & Humus
The perfect roasted cauliflower with tahini & humus recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Organic cauliflower, with us cauliflower
- 2 piece Sliced Vidalia onions
- 2 piece Halved garlic cloves
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 piece Organic lemon, sliced
- 2 tbsp Pine nuts
- Remove the stalk from the cauliflower and cut into florets. Wash them in a sieve and drain. Mix with the sliced onions, garlic cloves, olive oil and sliced lemon in an ovenproof container. Salt and pepper. Roast in the oven preheated to 200 degrees (top / bottom heat) for about 25 minutes, mixing again and again so that the aromas are distributed. Scatter the pine nuts on top halfway through the cooking time.
- We had the cauliflower with a little tahini (sesame paste), beetroot humus and lettuce. For vegetarians / vegans a full meal or, alternatively, a very good side dish to meat dishes. 1 cauliflower is only enough for 2 people as a main course!
