Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 jar chickpeas, cooked
  • e.g. rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

a healthy chip substitute

Drain the chickpeas, rinse briefly if necessary, and pat dry. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for about 30 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Shake the baking sheet every 10 minutes to prevent the chickpeas from burning. In the meantime, combine the spices. When the chickpeas are nice and crispy on the outside, remove them from the oven, coat them with a little oil, toss them in the spice mixture, and let them cool. The roasted chickpeas are a delicious and healthy alternative to chips or similar foods. The spice mixture can be varied according to taste.
