Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 sausages
  • some oil (peanut oil)
  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • some curry
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp mustard (paprika-onion mustard)
  • 1 bag/s of French fries (crunchy fries extra wide), frozen
  • 8 tbsp sauce (hamburger sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, mild
  • 25 g herbs (frozen)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

refined currywurst with fries and mayo

First, heat a nonstick pan, add a little peanut oil, and let it heat up. Add the sausages and fry evenly on all sides at medium heat until golden brown. Brush with a little mustard. For the sauce, pour the ketchup into a suitable pot and heat it up. Season with soy sauce and maple syrup to taste so the sauce doesn’t taste too sour. Spread the fries on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a convection grill at 170 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally. When the fries are the desired color and crispiness, drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with the herbs. Mix everything well with a spatula and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. To serve, place the sausages in pairs on the plate, pour a ladle of sauce over them, and sprinkle with a little curry powder. Place the fries next to the pan and sprinkle with sea salt and a little paprika. Drizzle some hamburger sauce on each serving.
