Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g pork goulash
  • 300 g smoked pork
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 1 jar salsify
  • 1 can green beans
  • 300 g processed cheese
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 50 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour 40 minutes

Fry the pork goulash in oil until crispy, season with salt and pepper, and remove from the pan. Slice the onions and fry them with the smoked pork, cut into 1-2 cm cubes. Place the roasted meat, drained mushrooms, salsify, and beans in a large casserole dish and mix lightly. Sprinkle the cream cheese cubes over the meat. Mix the cream with the milk, pour over the meat, and refrigerate for 24 hours. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Place the casserole dish in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Cooking time: approximately 80 minutes. Serve with rice, fries, or a baguette.
