Robert's style tomato soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 800 g tomatoes, peeled from the can
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 40 g tomato paste
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • some oregano, dried
  • some basil, dried
  • some sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the tomato paste and mix well with the flour in the pan and sauté until lightly browned. Purée the tomatoes beforehand. Then add the vegetable stock, tomatoes, and sugar. Let the soup simmer. Finally, add the oregano and marjoram, bring back to a boil, and serve.
