Rockefeller Mushrooms
The perfect rockefeller mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 medium sized Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 125 g Butter
- 450 g Frozen spinach
- 8 Giant mushrooms
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 4 Discs Breakfast bacon
- 1 bag “Zubereitung Sauce Hollandaise” für 125gr Butter
- 8 El Grated Gouda
- Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Sauté in 1 tablespoon of hot butter. Add spinach and 2 tablespoons of water and sauté on medium heat for 10 minutes. Spice up.
- In the meantime, clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove. Fry the mushrooms in the bacon for 5 minutes, turning them. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the hollandaise sauce according to the instructions on the packet.
- Fill the mushrooms with spinach. Spread the sauce over the top and sprinkle the cheese on top. Bake under the hot grill or on the highest setting in the oven for about 3 minutes. Halve the bacon and spread on top.
