Roll / Pretzel Dumplings
The perfect roll / pretzel dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 St Stale rolls
- 2 St Pretzels
- 200 ml Lukewarm milk
- 2 St Eggs
- 1 St Small onion
- 150 g Bacon
- Nutmeg salt
- Cut the rolls and pretzels into small pieces, pour lukewarm milk over them and let them soak for at least 30 minutes
- Sauté the onion and bacon (do not let them brown)
- Knead the eggs, bacon and onion into the bread mixture
- Roll the mixture and place in cling film and aluminum foil. Tighten the ends like a candy
- Put in boiling water, turn down the heat and let it steep for 30 minutes
