Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese, drained
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 8 tbsp oil, neutral, e.g. sunflower oil
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 ½ packets of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 200 g raisins, marinated in rum or apple juice
  • 100 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Quark-oil dough

Mix the quark with salt, sugar, egg, milk, and oil. Add the flour mixed with baking powder to the quark mixture and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest. Meanwhile, for the filling, soften the butter, chop the marzipan, and mix both with the remaining ingredients. Then, on a floured surface, roll out the dough into a square approximately 40 x 50 cm, spread with the filling, and roll up. Cut into approximately 9 slices and place them upright (with the “snail” facing up) next to each other in a greased springform pan. Bake for approximately 40 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing, if desired.
