Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 5 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Palm fat
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Deep-fried, requires a rose iron

Combine flour, milk, egg, vanilla sugar, and salt. Let the batter rest for an hour. Dip the baking pan halfway into the batter, then place it in hot oil to fry. Cook for as long as you like; the cakes should be golden brown. Place on kitchen paper to cool, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve. The cakes are still delicious the next day.
