Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 egg(s)
- pinch(s) of salt
- some lemon peel
- some rum
- Fat for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes
Knead the first seven ingredients into a firm dough, let it rest for a while, and then roll it out as thinly as possible. Using a smooth or serrated wheel, cut into approximately 8 cm long diamond shapes, fry them quickly in hot oil, and then dust one side with powdered sugar. Tip: The dough can be made in advance and used up in parts at any time. However, you should never use coconut oil for baking.
