Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 75 g cornstarch
- 40 g almond(s), ground
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 200 g nougat (nut nougat)
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp water, boiling
- 2 tea bags (mallow tea)
- Almond(s), peeled, halved

Place the dough ingredients in a bowl and make a dough. Cover and chill for about 2 hours. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out small “hearts” using a cookie cutter. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes. Allow the heart-shaped cookies to cool. Stir the nut nougat until smooth and spread it over the cookies. Then put two cookies together. For the glaze, pour boiling water over the mallow tea. Allow to cool, then mix the red tea with the icing sugar. Brush all of the hearts with this and decorate with a peeled, halved almond.
