Rost Beef with Mushrooms, Onion Rings and French Fries

The perfect rost beef with mushrooms, onion rings and french fries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Rost beef:

  • 2 Discs Roast beef of 160 g
  • 1 Cup Peanut oil
  • Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • Colorful pepper from the mill

Mushrooms:

  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 1 tsp Chicken broth instant

Onion rings:

  • 1 Large onion approx. 150 g
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Flour
  • 2 tsp Peanut oil

French fries:

  • 400 g Waxy potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Sea-Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 arc Parchment paper

Serve:

  • 2 cube Herb butter
  • 1 Tangerine for garnish

Rost beef:

  1. Heat peanut oil (about a cup) in a pan and fry the beef slices for about 2 – 3 minutes on each side, remove and season with salt and pepper.

Mushrooms:

  1. Clean / brush the mushrooms, cut the larger ones in half, fry / stir-fry in a pan with peanut oil (2 tbsp) and season with instant chicken stock (1 tsp).

Onion rings:

  1. Peel the onions, cut into fine rings, toss in flour (1 teaspoon) and sweet paprika (1 teaspoon) and fry / stir-fry in a pan with peanut oil (2 tbsp) until golden brown.

French fries:

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut into French fries with a kitchen utensil (here: Genius kitchen utensils), toss in turmeric (½ teaspoon) and olive oil (2 tbsp) and place / spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (225 ° C) for about 30 – 35 minutes until golden-yellow and sprinkle with sea salt (1 teaspoon).

Serve:

  1. Arrange two plates with the beef slices, cover them with onion rings and herb butter. Add the mushrooms and French fries and garnish with mandarin wedges, serve.
